*** RRL Double RL Plainview Boot in Light Java Roughout Leather from the RRL RANCH - RARE! - Size 8.5D ***
These are Ralph Lauren\'s RRL (Double RL) Plainview cowboy-style boots made from roughout leather from his famous RRL Ranch in Ridgeway, Colorado. I purchased them directly from the RRL website a few years ago (I waited a LONG time for them to have my size in stock). They are very gently used and absolutely beautiful. They are extremely rare and highly sought-after by RRL and western wear collectors worldwide. They are men\'s size 8 1/2 D. ** Unfortunately, I did NOT keep the box for these boots - so no box is included.**
The Plainview is RRL\'s signature cowboy boot style made using leather from Ralph Lauren\'s famous RRL Colorado cattle ranch that has been vegetable-tanned in a historic Minnesota tannery. Handmade in Texas (by the artisans at Rios of Mercedes), the boots are built on a vintage shoe last from the 1940s that sports an almond-shaped structured toe box. The boot is detailed with decorative stitching across the exterior including a debossed RRL logo above the crown, and comes fitted with pull tabs at the sides and a custom RRL heel.

Because the ranch can only supply a limited amount of hide each year, Plainview boots made from Ralph\'s personal RRL cattle are typically produced in very small batches, sell out quickly, and are highly prized by Western wear and RRL collectors.
While these boots are used and have been worn, they are in excellent condition with no snags, scuffs, stains, tears, or defects. The soles are the only place where there are signs of wear (see photos). They come from apet-free and smoke-free home where they have been meticulously cared for andsafely stored between wears.
These were purchased new and have been worn fewer than 20times.
