Rose Marie Mazzetta was born in New York, NY in 1923 and began singing as a child as Baby Rose Marie. She became a star on radio and in short films before going on a national stage tour to prove the deep-voiced girl was not a little adult. In the 1950s, Rose started her nearly 60 year career in television. From 1961-66, she co-starred as Sally Rogers on the classic “The Dick Van Dyke Show”. Younger viewers may remember her for her many years appearing on the game show “The Hollywood Squares”. Rose Marie passed away in 2017 at the age of 94. She signed this vintage 8x10 inch photo in the 1980s in black ink. The photo is in good condition with a few dings here and there and some discoloration along the lower edge (see photos).
