RARE vintage LA SOLANA Solana Ware Green Set of 3 Covered Casserole w Handle For Sale

This extremely rare set of three (3) casseroles with handles and lids is a fine example of wonderful, mid century modern pottery by LA SOLANA. \"Solana Ware\" was first made in Laguna Beach, California by LA SOLANA Pottery Shop in the late 1940\'s. In the 1950\'s, production moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Solana Ware was made in Scottsdale until the 1960\'s. The company made two dinnerware lines. This first line came in the colors white, yellow, rose, green, and blue. The second, very rare line, featured double-textured pieces with glazed tops and interiors and unglazed bottom exteriors. These handled casseroles are from the first line and are in the La Solana color green. All three casseroles have handles; all three come with the original lid. These pieces are in excellent, pre-owned condition with no damage. The large casserole measures 5\" tall x 9\" in diameter. The medium casserole measures 4-1/4\" tall x 7-1/2\" in diameter. The small casserole measures 3-3/4\" tall x 5-1/2\" in diameter. Measurements do not include the handles. The handles are 3\" to 3-1/2\" long.
