This is a VERY RARE box of 5 prized pieces of Amber from Soviet Russia, USSR. It is dated from Oct. 25, 1979 and was purchased there around that time. The box is in excellent condition and states \"AMBER\" in Russian. It contains five loose pieces of honey and egg yolk color from the Baltic Sea Region. They measure approximately 1-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches each. Some are a little bit narrower and longer. These are awesome and can be used for jewelry or ornamental objects. It is jewelry-ready and very Collectable. It is pretty to just display it in the box. These are authentic polished collectable Russian Baltic Amber pieces weighing approximately 70.87 Grams . This is for serious collectors who will appreciate this wonderful RARE set.
This is a vintage piece and comes from my own personal collection or that I inherited from my mom. My Mom traveled all over the world, and collected beautiful objects especially hand made. My Mom was born in Russia and cherished Amber especially this set.
