RARE STAR ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE PUNCHED TIN LANTERN CLEATED BOTTOM ORIGINAL AAFA For Sale

If you love rare antique primitive punched tin lanterns with unique designs this one is amazing with it\'s double star punched tin panels and cleated bottom. It\'s a very olde one and is all original with a working door latch and candle holder inside. There is some wax in different colors left behind where it\'s been used over many years and it comes complete with the antique beeswax candle that you see in the pics too. Overall this wonderful olde lantern measures about 19 inches tall counting the hanging loop on top and the bottom cleated base is about 6 inches across. As you can see it has been used over it\'s lifetime of many years since the 1800\'s and it has some fabulous black paint with goode honest wear overall. There is some surface rust on the bottom as you see and a label from a previous museum display but nothing to apologize for as it\'s an early original one and has honest wear as expected with an early lighting device of this era. Please study all the pics for a better description than we could ever write here for you and know it\'s MUCH better in person too. :)
