RARE Library Of The Fathers CATHOLIC Theology 1838-1850 Hardcover Lot Of 33 For Sale

Books are in excellent condition for their age. They all have a degree of foxing and minor moisture rippling and minor staining that is mostly limited to within front and back covers. There is no writing within the books that affects the text. The pictures are lighter than real life. The paper is a more yellowed hue than shown. The books' spine hues vary from light-medium sage, to a mixture of that and indigo. Covers are a faded indigo hue.

Each book has a bookplate (see pic) on the inside of the front cover that contains a seal and some printing that surrounds the seal. The printing reads: "Fac-Simile of an impression from a Seal of the Coultharts of Roger de Coulthart, Knight in favour of Robert de Agneu. Coulthart, Chief of the name appended to a Charter granted by assigning certain lands in Galloway called Fellmore A.D. 1443"
