This highly collectible Japanese cultivar is prized for its exceptionally rugged, deeply fissured surface, giving the plant an extraordinary sculptural appearance unlike ordinary A. fissuratus.

While A. fissuratus is already famous for its unusual, rock-like appearance, \'Godzilla\' takes that characteristic to an extreme.

Its thick, triangular, spineless tubercles develop an intricate network of deep wrinkles and fissures, creating a wonderfully textured surface.

🌞 Light: Bright light with plenty of sun.

💧 Water: During active growth, water thoroughly only when the growing medium has dried completely.

❄️ Winter: Keep essentially dry during winter dormancy.

🌵 Soil: Use a very gritty, predominantly mineral growing medium, with excellent drainage. Pumice, limestone grit, and perlite are excellent choices.

🪴 Pot: A deeper container is recommended to accommodate the plant\'s substantial taproot.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Ariocarpus are extremely sensitive to prolonged moisture around the roots. Excellent drainage and careful watering are essential.
