Rare and wonderful old advertising deskpiece made in the 1930\'s for the Strong Electric Corp. of Toledo, Ohio depicting miniature metal replicas of a movie projector Reflector Arc Lamp and an Arc Lamp Rectifier.
These highly detailed miniatures are mounted side by side on top of a green enameled cast iron desk tray which could also be used as a cigar ashtray. Each of the miniatures has a tiny metal plate from the Strong Electric Corp detailng the name and model of the projector and recitfier.
The entire piece measures 3.5\" tall by 9\" wide by 5.5\" deep, and weighs almost 6 lbs.
It\'s in very good shape with just some paint loss and a little rusting on the miniatures. In the early 20th century arc retifiers were used to power the arc lamp projector converting AC to DC. Get this rare piece of movie industry history for your collection or desktop.
