Rare early 1993 Thomas Wooden Railway – original first-year “2 staple” version.
This is an early first-release Thomas from the beginning of the Thomas Wooden Railway line. An important identifying feature is the two-staple construction on the underside, clearly visible in the photos. This early construction detail, together with the wooden funnel and dome and early-style face, distinguishes it from later Thomas Wooden Railway versions.
Condition: This is a well-loved vintage example with noticeable play wear, including paint loss and edge wear on the funnel, dome, cab and body. The underside also shows wear around the two staples. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition.
Despite the wear, this is a desirable early variation for collectors looking for an original 1993 / first-year / 2-staple Thomas rather than one of the much more common later versions.
