RARE 1960s Bandai Captain Scarlet Maximum Security Vehicle - Battery Operated For Sale

Up for sale is a RARE 1960s Bandai Captain Scarlet Maximum Security Vehicle - Battery Operated - Plastic. This is a very hard vehicle to find. Made in Japan, guessing in the early 1960s?, this hard plastic vehicle is in amazing condition. The previous owner was a life long collector and always tried to find the best, cleanest version of whatever he was looking for. Judging from the condition and the wheels, pretty safe to say this was not played with. The very few issues are the back underside “wings” on the bumper are broken off (see close up photo). They are not even noticeable unless you know they are missing. The other issue is on top of the vehicle, one of the thin plastic pieces along side the roof light is broken. It’s still firmly attached on one end but broken at the other (see close up picture). The side symbol stickers are fading? Not sure what they looked like new…. The chrome headlights and tail lights are rusting (see pictures). There are a few nicks in the paint on the tin stripe running from the front to the rear of the vehicle. Overall this is an amazingly clean plastic vehicle from the 60s. Could be a centerpiece of any collection.
