2010 Puma 212401 Jata 240 M+ Folding Knife With Spear, Saw Blade, & Can Opener
New, But Packaging is Dirty

This knife is new. However, this knife is also a survivor of a fire that ravaged one of my distributor’s warehouses. The knife itself was not damaged in the fire, but the box has some soot stain and is smashed from being shipped in bulk. The knife is in excellent condition.

Please note that because this knife was manufactured in 2010, it had some discoloration on the brass bolster. I have used Brasso to polish the bolster which removed the discoloration. However, there are some swirl marks left behind. I've gotten back the original luster of the German brass, but I do believe that further polishing with Brasso would also remove the remaining swirl marks.
This is a 2010 Puma 212401 Jata 240 M+. Some may consider this the ultimate hunter's knife as it includes both a spear point blade and an aggressive saw blade, that has a can opener on the bottom! -- the two tools you need to quickly and efficiently field dress any big game animal. This knife was made in 2010 by Puma, as evidenced by the 10/RC date stamp on the 3-1/3" long spear blade. This blade locks open and can be closed while depressing the lock back lever. The saw blade measures 3" long (and does not lock open), and the knife measures just shy of 4 3/8" long when closed. The knife has the Puma Proof Mark that ALL genuine Puma knives should have -- a small dot that was made with a diamond pointed needle as part of the blade's Rockwell hardness testing -- on the right side of the tang of the spear blade. If your Puma knife doesn’t have this proof mark, it’s NOT a genuine Puma knife!
