IMPORTANT:
Engine OIL PRESSURE sensor for Perkins 1104D/1106D engines. Perkins 1104D = Cat C4.4 and 1106D = Cat C7.1 — same engines under different brands. Do NOT confuse with fuel rail pressure or coolant temp sensors. This is a 3-pin M10x1.0 sensor with 0-5V output measuring 0-10 bar oil pressure.Failure symptoms: low oil pressure warning, engine derate or shutdown, erratic gauge. Found in Cat 416F/420F/430F backhoes, 320E/320F excavators, and Perkins industrial applications. Before replacing, verify actual pressure with a mechanical gauge to confirm sensor fault vs genuine oil issue. Check connector for oil seepage and pin corrosion — a weeping M10 port is common.
