Philippines 500 Piso, 2009, P-204, Used, Commemorative TAP Authenticated For Sale

This used 500 Philippine Piso note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bangko Sentral. It is a yellow, orange, and black note that is dated 2009, bear the signatures of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Amando Maglalang Tetangco Jr, and measures 160 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features a dove with an olive branch, a flag, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, a palm frond, Aquino’s manual typewriter, Benigno Simeon 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., and a blue-and-red '60 1949–2009 Central Banking in the Philippines' overprint. Its reverse side shows four people holding hands, a woman with a basket and a child giving flowers to soldiers with machine guns, a teacher and student with an open book, the Tarlac Capitol building, the Concepcion Municipal building, and Aquino with a pen and camera as The Manila Times war correspondent covering the Korean war. Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed security thread with demetalized 500, and a watermark of Benigno Aquino Jr. This used note may contain minor tearing, folding, and/or ink stains.
