This listing is for an as found Dimetrodon claw from the Archer City Formation of the Lower Permian Texas Red Beds. This is a good large claw that is very well preserved and appears to be missing only the smallest part of the tip. Still in its concretionary matrix as found. Rare.
It is hard to tell from the images but the fossil is NOT just a thin film on the surface, it does extend into the rock, with most of the fossil still being embedded. From what we can see the claw is at least 5mm thick. You could certainly prep this out so that both sides are visible.
