I have 8YDS available being sold by the yard...a commodity of epic proportions...one for the serious collectors who relish in the flamboyance of pattern and colorway of the designs of the mid century. A pattern that was first printed in 1938 and was re-printed through 1951 as were many of the Spectrum top of the line prints. A soft gray ground with merlot burgundy red...blood orange...creamy charcoals...electric lime...creamy lemon yellow...deep dark teal...with black and white accents. Signed “A Spectrum Original Vat Color Print”. It has been stored impeccably and doesn’t even have any fold lines that so many bolts come with...so it is flawless and in time transportive condition. This pattern hails from the Art Deco Period in Miami Beach where it was first introduced in the hotel district of South Beach. A culmination of good ole American spirit of innovation...commerce and drive from the 1939 Worlds Fair in NYC where many of the jungle prints first premiered in designer tents fashioned as lobby\'s of Miami Beach hotels. A way to showcase what was happening in Miami Beach and influence designers throughout the world. Before long designers were clamoring for orders as far away as Shanghai China and of course Los Angeles and modern cities in the USA. Today these treasured patterns have mostly disappeared...been designed with or vanished into the salt air of South Beach in the decline of the 60\'s, 70\'s and 80\'s.
