This set features two distinct shapes—one tall cylindrical vase and one classic baluster-shaped vase—making them an excellent staggered display pairing for a mantle, shelf, or curio cabinet.
Both pieces boast incredibly deep, high-contrast carvings of traditional Chinese floral foliage (peonies/chrysanthemums) set against an intricate geometric black diaper pattern background.
The interiors and undersides are finished in a vibrant, glossy "cloisonné blue" enamel over a solid brass metal body core. The bases feature raw brass foot rings and are structurally sound and unmarked, typical of high-quality mid-century Chinese export artwork.
