Large pair Hollywood Regency black and gold lamps, 29” tall. Sopranos artifact seen in location shoots at Cozzarelli Funeral Home, Belleville, NJ
This listing is for a pair of large 1960s gold and black Hollywood Regency lamps that were used as set decoration at Cozzarelli Funeral Home, a location used many times on the Sopranos. This very special pair of lamps appeared in at least 4 episodes. They are amazing design objects in their own right, but would also be an ideal gift for a Sopranos fan.
The price includes both lamps (shades not included).
The lamps have been very well maintained, and are shown with their original wiring, which is in great shape. I am happy to rewire them with new cord and modern polarized plugs (no charge) if you prefer.
Each takes one standard-base bulb. The socket is a 3-way socket, but regular bulbs work too. Harp and finial included.
The body appears to be glass reverse-painted in black. Overlaying this is an unusual collar piece with black-enameled and pierced-brass leaves.
The lamps are at least 50 years old, and the metal parts may have patina or minor wear consistent with age - see photos. Overall they are in excellent condition.
The Cozzarelli Funeral Home was at 276 Washington Ave in Belleville, NJ. The lamps were purchased at an estate sale when the funeral home closed.
