This listing is for a pair of rare vintage or antique Baule slingshots (potomo waka) from the Ivory Coast, West Africa, crafted from hand-carved wood. The slingshots are a functional hunting tool for birds and bats in the forest, sources of protein in places where that is often scarce. The one with the elastic band intact measures 19”, while the one missing its band measures 10”.
