An original watercolor from my The Reclining Hours series, depicting the male figure turned away from the viewer in a quiet reclining pose.
The back, shoulders and legs are developed through transparent watercolor over loose graphite construction. Searching lines and unfinished passages remain deliberately visible, preserving the immediacy of the original figure study.
