It is an original race-used OZ Racing magnesium wheel from the Lotus 99T programme, transformed into a striking piece of functional motorsport furniture while retaining the character, markings, and history of its competition use.
The Lotus 99T is one of the most recognisable Formula One cars of the 1980s. Wearing its famous Camel yellow livery and powered by Honda, it was raced during the 1987 Formula One World Championship by Ayrton Senna and Satoru Nakajima.
Senna took victories at Monaco and Detroit in the 99T and finished third in the Drivers’ World Championship.
For a Lotus, Senna, or historic Formula One collector, this offers something very different from conventional memorabilia: an authentic race-used component substantial enough to become the centrepiece of a room, office, or collection.
