Original Oil on Canvas After Corot Peasant Woman Cow Signed 1992 Framed
Original oil on canvas depicting a peasant woman tending a cow beside a wooded riverbank. This hand-painted interpretation is based on Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot’s 19th-century composition, “A Peasant Woman Grazing a Cow at the Edge of a Forest.”
Signed and dated ‘92 in the lower-left corner. The artist’s signature is difficult to decipher but may read “M. Vinciguerra.”
Presented in a decorative dark bronze-tone wooden frame. Measures approximately 21 by 16 inches overall.
The painting displays well with age-related surface wear. The frame has scattered finish loss, chips, and wear, particularly around the edges. The reverse backing shows age and deterioration. Ready to hang.
