VERDANT FIGURE STUDIES – “TURNING AWAY”

Part of my continuing “Verdant Figure Studies” series, exploring the human figure through traditional academic drawing techniques on muted green-toned paper.
Seen from behind, the standing figure turns subtly through the shoulders while shifting her weight through the hips and legs. Graphite and ink establish the structure and deeper values, while oil-based pastel creates luminous highlights across the back, shoulders and figure.
