Adorable tintype of a boy and his dog. The background kind of looks like a beach scene, with the boy sitting in what is supposed to be a lifeguard chair...but not sure. His dog looks like a retriever or labrador mix. Very cute. The tintype has some alligatoring and discoloration....worn and in fair condition.
Size: about 3 3/4\" tall x 2 1/3\"...this size is roughly the size of a sixth plate although a little different. This size was used more frequently in New England and is sometimes called a bon ton.
