Original 1972 Schwinn Orange Krate 5 Speed Disc Brake Bicycle " Super Nice " For Sale

I got this bike over 35 years ago from a collector, he got it from the original owner. Which I have talked to, I asked if he was interested in having it back as I was thinking of selling it, he does not want it back. His name is etched on the bottom side ( hardly noticeable) I won't post his info. I'll send a pic of part of the etching to serious buyers. It's always been stored/displayed inside. The rear seat strut shows a little wear where it was flipped over at one time. The date stamped bars have very slight wear (see pics) , The seat is In amazing condition even along the edge where they typically split, it's nice, no splits.
Original Tires are super nice with very little wear, rear has some very slight cracking where it sat flat at some point, I can't really see the cracks when inflated. It still has the center line so not many miles on it, same goes with the front tire, very little wear, slight cracking. (See pics for dates on tires) . Paint is equally amazing, very few chips ( see pics) and what's there are very small. Pedals, some cables/housings, grips/brake handle covers, were replaced with NOS, there was every little wear/discoloring on what was there. Super Nice period Correct headlight, worked last time I checked it. Correct Speedo Was taken apart, regreased turned back to 0 miles. The front fender has a very small ding. Otherwise, the rest of the chrome is very nice on the bike.. I have not taken it apart and cleaned anything. I'm assuming it has original grease. In my opinion this is as nice as it gets for a used Bike, I will pay the shipping, shipping to lower 48 only.
