A premier 3-piece archive lot of vintage 4x5 press sheet film negatives centered around Ted Williams and Boston Red Sox baseball at Fenway Park, highlighted by the 1946 All-Star Game.

This lot contains two camera-original negatives and one vintage press copy negative, accompanied by their period paper archive sleeve:

1. The Anchor Artifact (Camera-Original, OOAK): 1946 All-Star Game at Fenway Park (July 9, 1946)

   Captured on-field before the first post-WWII Midsummer Classic hosted at Fenway Park. This shot features four of baseball\'s premier hitters playfully gripping a single bat hand-over-hand to determine \"first up\":

   • Mickey Vernon (Washington Senators – 1946 AL Batting Champion)

   • Ted Williams (Boston Red Sox – 1946 AL MVP, 2-HR All-Star Game hero)

   A first-generation camera negative capturing a Red Sox hitter in home uniform ascending the Fenway dugout runway toward the diamond with a bat in hand. Notable ballpark background details include the dugout bat rack, box-seat railings with slipcovers, and the grandstand crowd.

3. Ted Williams Swing Follow-Through (Vintage Press Copy Negative – Circa 1940s)

   A period darkroom working copy negative re-photographed from an earlier framed image hanging in a team office or press room (the wooden frame border is captured directly in the exposure). Depicts a classic full follow-through swing by young Ted Williams during early batting practice.
