📜 A LITTLE HISTORYOlympus introduced the AF-1 in 1986, and it was sold in the U.S. as the Infinity. It was the world\'s first weatherproof, fully automatic 35mm compact camera and the first in Olympus\'s AF series. It set the template for the all-weather Infinity and Stylus (mju) cameras that followed. It stands out from later Infinity models because it carries a true Zuiko-branded f/2.8 lens; many later siblings used a slower f/3.5 \"Olympus Lens.\" Today it\'s a favorite with film shooters who want Olympus compact image quality in a tough, carefree package.
