Title: UNTITLED q604
Oil Paint on Corrugated Cardboard
18 1/4 by 30 1/2 in.
Notes: This cardboard is slightly warped. It can be displayed like in the photos, I can
send the 1/2 inch aluminum push pins -- that can hold 40lbs each, just in drywall.
But, ideally, it may be framed with a backerboard, like foamboard behind the work.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions on framing or display.
Part of what makes this work what it is -- is the fact that it was done on cardboard.
Almost as just an experimental sketch with that freedom of not having the investment
of the stretched canvas. This cardboard was primed with acrylic polymer and crushed
glass prior to painting with the oils. So, the oils may only slightly touch the cardboard
where it overlaps on the edges.
[Please allow me a few days to package and ship these oil paintings -- thank you!]
Painted in new NYC studio on West 15th Street.
