This is an original oil painting of a nude art model in Los Angeles in the 1950’s. It was painted by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). He studied under the famous Russian American Master, Nicolai Fechin, and was a MGM scenic artist who painted movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted on site (plein air).
This oil painting is 20” x 16” and was purchased directly from the successor trustee for the Albert Londrmaville Trust. It has the artist stamp on the back. The painting is unframed. It fits into a standard 16” x 20” frame.
