2003 Limited Edition -- 1 of 50 Ever Made!

This knife is New Old Stock (NOS) from 2003 -- it is basically brand new in the box and has never been used to cut anything! The blade steel is AIRDI-150 -- this steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel also known as AISI D2. It's an air-hardening steel, meaning it hardens upon cooling in air, and is heat treatable to Rockwell C hardness of 60-62. AIRDI-150 is also known for its excellent abrasion resistance due to a high volume of carofferes in its microstructure. As a result of its hardness, it will take time to sharpen but will hold an edge amazingly well.
This particular knife is labeled 1 of 50. This was a VERY limited run. I do not know if each of the 50 knives were labeled "1 of 50" or if this truly is #1 of the 50 in the run, but regardless, it's still a VERY hard knife to find and is QUITE scarce. Don't miss this opportunity to own a rare piece of Northwoods Knife Co. history! These were released in 2003 as marked on the tang of the knife.
The blade length is 4". The handle scales are made from green micarta. As you can see, this is a full-tang knife. All Northwoods knives are made in Gladstone, Michigan, USA!
Yes, the sheath appears to have a small crease down toward the tip of the knife. This knife was packed in the cardboard box with the blade protector on it, and the sheath was placed in the box last, setting on top of the knife. I believe the handle of the knife probably pressed on the sheath for some time while in storage causing the crease. The knife has never been used to cut ANYthing and is, for all intensive purposes, brand new, but because of the flaw in the sheath, I've selected "USED" for the item condition since it isn't perfect.
This knife measures 8.25" long overall. In the sheath, the overall length becomes roughly 8.75". The knife and sheath together weigh 6.8 oz.
