This compact console delivers a library of classic Nintendo games with smooth performance and distinctive design. Powered by the IBM-developed Gekko CPU and the Flipper GPU, the GameCube offers impressive graphics for its generation. It uses 8cm mini-discs as its game medium, which are smaller than standard DVDs (note: the system does not play DVD movies). The GameCubes intuitive menu allows you to start games, manage memory card data, adjust settings, and check the system date and time. While later Nintendo consoles like the Wii added backward compatibility for GameCube games, this system preserves the original GameCube experience for retro gamers and collectors alike.
