18th printing (US), copyright date 1949 but likely a later issue. Hardcover w/o dust jacket. Ex-library with usual stamps and markings, spine re-backed by library with taped titles (see photos). Book noticeably worn with age, heavy wear to corners, ring spot on front board, general wear and tear from use. Hinges a bit tired, but all pages intact. Mild yellowing to page edges, faint musty odor. Text clean, no notes or underlining. Obviously not pristine, but would make a good lower-cost vintage hardcover for an Orwell fan.
