Vintage Hall Wildfire Salad Serving Bowl Gold Trim/Cream/Pink Roses/Blue Ribbons. Bowl measures 9" in diameter and is 3" high. Pre-owned in very good condition without any chips or cracks. Minimal utensil marks evident as pictured. This bowl is from HALL'S SUPERIOR QUALITY KITCHENWARE MADE IN U. S. A. This is what is on the bottom of this pretty bowl in gold lettering. The wording is inside a square with two lines of gold on the top and the bottom of the square and after the two gold lines on the bottom Is MADE IN then below this is U. S. A. It measures 9 inches round and is 3 inches high t is a gold metal rim that has faded and the design is of a swag of pink roses and green leaves with a blue ribbon that wraps around the swag. T are no chips it is made from pottery and is quite heavy it is old as you can see that the gold rim is worn with age.
Hall China Company introduced Wildfire pattern china in the 1940s. It is a modern style/shapes made with primarily white bodies decorated with floral and banner decals. Many serving pieces were made in Wildfire, including bakers, bean pots, bowls, casserole dishes, creamers, custard dishes, jugs, coffeepots, sugar bowls, and teapots. It's a great serving set to collect.
