This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs of Niagara Falls (New York and Canada) from around 1910. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail.
There are 5 pages of photographs plus the pictorial cover. Each print is mounted onto thick textured gray paper. The page measures12.5 x 10inches (32 x24.5 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately7.5 x 5.5 inches (19 x14 cm). I believe this portfolio probaby had 12 pictures at some time, but the five are all that remain. Priced accordingly.
Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is undated, but based on similar books in my collection, , it appears to be from about 1910 to 1920.
I am selling hundreds of Albertype photogravure albums of USA cities. Contact me if you are interested in additional volumes.
SHIPPING – PLEASE NOTE: If you buy more than one volume, I may be able to box them together. In this case I can refund any excess postage paid.
