In some lighting they appear quite dark and then they come to life when the light hits them just right. As each pair is unique the exact placement of the fire tortoise pattern will vary. We included many pictures to try and capture these unique qualities. The pictures do not do justice to this awesome color. Labeled "Tortoise /G" on the slip but we chose to call them "Fire Tortoise" to describe the color.)
