This new sealed Revell Collector\'s Choice 1/72 Vintage WW-2 Messerschmitt Bf 109E kit was purchased at a local hobby shop and added to my personal collection (1960 -1982) of Vintage WW-2 Warplanes.
I am not a dealer. I am a former collector. For the period between 1960 and 1982 I assembled a collection of 1/72 scale WW-2 warplanes with the intent of building and displaying them. I had actually built about 5 kits when I opened my own civil engineering firm and no longer had time for my hobby. In 1983 I placed my collection in a large storage container in an airconditioned room. In April 2025 I opened the container and placed the collection on e-bay so that active collectors could have the opportunity to build kits that had been purchased 42 to 65 years ago. I now have the time to resume modeling but age has rendered my hands unable to do so. This is my only copy.
