2024 or 2025 Harvest?Yes, these are from the 2024 harvest.New Mexico Pinon are "two needle" pinus edulis pine nuts. They are a little smaller, dense and nutty, and very flavorful. They only seed every 4 years. The next harvest will be 2028.The soft shells found in Nevada, Arizona, California and Utah, are "single needle" pinus monophylla, and they seed every year. These are a little larger, more pithy, and a lot less flavorful.People like both types, but we feel that ours are much better.We keep ours in a cool, dry storage facility. The nuts keep very well.
