Aloha, this is a hand-carved, appropriately 3’ long Marquesan style canoe.
He was carved from a soft wood called Albasia which is similar to Pine and is great indoors or out.
If you’d like to seal him I suggest Lint Seed oil or a varnish.
If using a varnish I recommend Rustoleum Marine Spar Varnish.
It measures approx. 38” x 10” x 1” and weighs approx. 5 lbs.
