The SHINE SHE-2is an Electrochemical Detector (ECD) designed by Qingdao Sheng-Han Chromatograph Technology (SHINE) specifically for Ion Chromatography (IC) systems.The \"DC detector\" aspect refers to its built-in DCAmperometric Detection (PAD) mode. By alternating rapid potential pulses, the detector continuously cleans the surface of the working electrode to prevent fouling or chemical build-up during analysis.Core Technical Specifications :

• Three Detection Modes: It natively supports DC Ampere, Pulsed Ampere, and Integral Ampere configurations to suit varying target analytes.
• Ultra-Low Detection Limits: Highly optimized for trace analysis, featuring a minimum detectable concentration limit of I⁻ ≤ 0.005 μg/mL.
• Flow Path Design: Features an all-plastic flow path to drastically minimize baseline noise and avoid extraneous ion contamination.
• Working Electrodes: Can be outfitted with Gold (Au), Platinum (Pt), Silver (Ag), or Glassy Carbon working electrodes depending on whether you are analyzing carbohydrates, amino acids, or specialized anions/cations.
• Reference System: Utilizes a standard Ag/AgCl (Saturated KCl) reference electrode and an incredibly small cell volume of < 0.5 μL to prevent peak broadening.

Typical Applications :Because of its pulsed amperometric mode, the SHE-2 is heavily utilized in environmental, food, and pharmaceutical industries to map out compounds that do not have good UV absorbance, such as:
