New, limited edition 1996 Longaberger medium berry basket with red trim and plastic protector. Originally designed by Longaberger family patriarch J. W. Longaberger for berry picking, the basket is handcrafted of woven hardwood maple strips and made in Ohio, USA. Cherry red shoestring weave accents along with matching red on the top trim strip was a limited-edition selection available during a monthly campaign in 1996. Signed and dated by the individual weaver, the basket is 7 inches square and approximately 3.75 inches high and comes with a plastic protector. Never used, the color in the basket is as vibrant as the day it was created.
