Overview: The Focal HDA 165 - 2014 UP is a component speaker system designed as a drop-in replacement for the factory speakers on select 2014 and later Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, Road Glide, and Street Glide models. 

Grilles: The speakers include two sets of grilles, to fit multiple Harley-Davidson applications.

Woofer Cone Material: The woofers use Dual Fiberglass Structure Membrane (DFS) cones, a light, rigid, woven glass fiber material.

Installation: The Focal woofers replace the factory fairing speakers. The Focal tweeters are mounted to the Focal grilles, which then replace the factory grilles. Once installed, the tweeters are difficult to remove without damaging the grilles, so confirm you\'re using the correct grilles before mounting the tweeters. The installed tweeters protrude approximately ½\" above the grilles. One end of each included tweeter wire (with in-line crossover) plugs into the wire attached to the tweeter, the other end is spliced into the factory wire going to the woofers.

Factory Equalization: Most Harley-Davidson factory radios use a preset equalizer curve to optimize the factory speaker output. If using the factory radio with these Focal speakers, the radio will need to be re-flashed by the dealership to remove the equalizer curve.
