Brand-new Edelbrock 7562 RPM Air-Gap 2-R intake manifold for Chevrolet Big-Block V8 engines with high-performance rectangular-port cylinder heads.

This is Edelbrock’s high-performance dual-plane Air-Gap design, developed for serious street and competition BBC builds. The Air-Gap design isolates the intake runners from hot engine oil, helping maintain a cooler, denser intake charge.

APPLICATION

Designed for Chevrolet Big-Block Mark IV engines equipped with high-performance rectangular-port cylinder heads, including common 396, 427, 454 and 502 BBC combinations when the appropriate rectangular-port heads are used.

IMPORTANT: This manifold is specifically for rectangular-port heads. It will NOT fit oval-port cylinder heads. It is also not designed for tall-deck/tall-block BBC applications.

Please verify your cylinder-head configuration and engine application before purchasing.

PERFORMANCE DESIGN

The RPM Air-Gap 2-R features a larger plenum and runners intended to complement free-flowing exhaust systems, high-lift camshafts and other high-performance modifications. The dual-plane design provides strong throttle response while supporting substantial top-end horsepower.
