This is the current generation hardware. Both the keyboard (Model A3118) and the mouse (Model A3204) charge natively using a USB-C port. The bundle includes a genuine Apple woven USB-C to USB-C charging cable.
Please note that the Touch ID biometric sensor requires a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or M4 series chips) running compatible macOS. The keyboard will still function as a standard wireless Bluetooth keyboard on older Intel-based Macs or iPads, but the fingerprint feature will not be active.
