Rigid Stainless Steel Performance
Upgrade your compatible Glock Gen 4 or Gen 5 pistol with the NDZ Performance Stainless Steel Guide Rod Assembly. This drop-in recoil system replaces the flexible factory-style guide rod with a rigid stainless steel body designed to support smooth, consistent operation.
The enlarged guide rod base is shaped similarly to the factory recoil assembly base. This design allows the single-spring assembly to sit in a more parallel position relative to the barrel, supporting proper alignment and dependable cycling.
Unlike a flexible plastic guide rod, the solid stainless steel body removes guide rod flex and supports consistent lockup. Stainless steel construction also provides excellent resistance to rust, corrosion, chipping and cracking.
A removable hex-screw tip allows the recoil spring to be changed when needed. Shooters can select different compatible spring weights to better match their firearm configuration and ammunition.
Available spring configurations use premium ISMI recoil springs manufactured from certified aerospace-specification alloys. Depending on the selected option, the spring may be manufactured from chrome silicon or stainless steel.
ISMI springs are heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved after winding to support durability and consistent performance. ISMI recoil springs are used by competitive shooters and law-enforcement professionals worldwide.
The included Gen 4 and Gen 5 adapter ring installs beneath the retention-end screw. It fills the additional space at the front of the Gen 4 or Gen 5 slide and retains the single recoil spring in the proper position.
Choose the guide rod alone, a guide rod with an individual 13 lb, 15 lb, 18 lb, 20 lb or 22 lb ISMI recoil spring, or the complete tuner pack. The tuner pack includes all five available spring weights: 13 lb, 15 lb, 18 lb, 20 lb and 22 lb. No permanent firearm modification is required.

Spring Change and Hex Screw Notice
NDZ Performance recommends applying a small amount of removable blue thread-locking compound to the hex-screw threads after changing recoil springs.
Removable blue thread locker helps hold the screw securely during use while still allowing future removal. Do not use permanent thread-locking compounds. Follow the thread-locking compound manufacturer's instructions and avoid over-tightening the retention screw.
Installation Notice
