One of the band's earliest, most collectible releases from the pure lo-fi, boombox-direct era — John Darnielle and bassist Rachel Ware, with one track ("Lonesome Surprise") recorded live over a telephone hookup with Refrigerator on Dutch radio.
About the release: A snapshot of the Mountain Goats at their rawest — unpolished, uncalculated, and now a genuine rarity that rarely turns up in this good condition, since it was a small underground pressing decades before the band had wide reach.
