They are meticulous copies of a 19th century American “ Saratoga “ featured in the museum’s permanent collection.The Pitcher has a distinct feature on the bottom called a Pontil , an applied handle plus a coiled glass detail wrapped around the neck( not all pitchers had this extra piece of glass ) .
