For sale a rareMarvel Comicssigned limited edition of the cover artwork ofAvengers #1 - The Earth's Mightiest Superheroes.The original comic was published in September 1963 with the cover artwork by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers. The original Avengers were Iron Man, Ant Man, The Hulk, Thor and Wasp. Captain America did not appear until later. All characters were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
The print was published byMarvel Comics/Washington Greenin an edition of only 295 copies in 2013. The item is for the unmounted and unframed print. The print is new old stock and has never been mounted or framed. It is in new condition and is priced to sell. This print is available from Washington Green at £2,000 and so grab yourself a bargain!
The print is signed by the legendSTAN LEE to the lower right. Sadly Stan Lee died in 2018.
The print is numbered141/295to the lower left and comes with its original Certificate Of Authenticity.
