Marklin z Scale 88290 Mallet Locomotive For Parts or Repair Only. I was running this on my layout and it stopped suddenly and smoke came from the motor. I took off the shell and found that a brush had come apart and seized it up. The motor fried before I could get to it, so it will definitely need a motor. I has also been previously repaired. The rear truck had a pin fall out and a new one was fabricated to replace it, (not the correct part but it worked). One of the pics has a pointer that shows it. This locomotive ran excellent before the motor incident, very smooth and quiet.
This is a special edition 2004 blue Mallet with the correct box that has a $412.00 price tag on one end. All of the original paperwork is included.
Great opportunity on a rare one if you know how to fix it or need the parts.
