Large and vibrant limited-edition lithographic reproduction after Marc Chagall (1887–1985), featuring many of the artist’s iconic motifs: lovers, a horse, floating figures and a dreamlike Paris cityscape with the Arc de Triomphe.
The print is individually numbered I 166/500 in pencil at the lower left and bears a facsimile Marc Chagall signature at the lower right. +I/500 series + dimensions + signature format matches the documentation of the 1965 printing.
The reverse is explicitly marked:
“EXQUISITE RECREATIONS IN A LIMITED EDITION LITHOGRAPHIC PRINT, BEARING A FACSIMILE SIGNATURE.”
Comparable examples from this series are documented as limited-edition lithographic/offset lithographic reproductions numbered from editions of 500.
