Mint (M)
Vinyl: Brand new, flawless, unplayed, and usually still sealed in plastic.
Cover: Perfect with zero creases, folds, or defects.
Near Mint (NM or M-) or Excellent (EX)
Vinyl: Nearly perfect. Shines like new with only minor scuffs or paper wisps from the inner sleeve that do not affect play.
Cover: Clean, crisp, and sharp with no ring wear, creases, or seam splits.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl: Shows light signs of use. May have slight scuffs or light scratches that cause faint pops or crackles during quiet parts, but the music overpowers them.
Cover: Slight corner wear, minor ring wear, or a very small split on a seam.
Very Good (VG)
Vinyl: Noticeable groove wear. Scratches are deeper, feelable by finger and cause continuous soft clicks or light surface noise, but it plays through without skipping.
Cover: Visible ring wear, split seams, or small writing/stickers on the jacket.
