This pair of MCM Vintage Teak/Brass Masketeers Sailboat wall art decor is from the 1960s. These sailboats are made of teak and brass, adding a touch of vintage charm to any space. Perfect for collectors of retro and mid-century decor, this unique pair of sailboats is sure to make a statement in any room.The base is 23” wide and they are about 24” tall. I inherited these and know they came from a non-smokers home. I can only find instance of this specific item for sale, and only three in past sales, so I believe they might be somewhat rare. Condition: fair. The varnish in the “boat” needs to be refinished, the brass has some oxidation. I wiped with water but did not want to damage the finish (I don’t have experience restoring). The sails (both painted and brass) I checked with a magnet and they are not magnetic, leading me to believe they are brass. The cream-color painted wood sails show some minor staining of the paint. I did not attempt to clean with anything other than damp microfiber.
